He was born in Indianapolis Indiana on February 4, 1954

to Robert and Dorothy (Foster) Parr who preceded him in death.

Rick was a green thumb when it came to gardening and landscaping his residence.

He loved all kind of music and was an avid car enthusiast, keeping his car immaculate and sparkling

Rick had a special love for his two dogs, Sasha and Drake.

Survivors; His loving wife Rhonda (Dean) Parr,  and children:  Lauren C. Parr and Royce C. Parr;

5 sisters and 1 brother; Several nieces and nephews.

"Death is no enemy of man; it is a friend who, when the work of life is done, just cuts the cord that binds the human boat to earth, that it may sail on smoother seas."

The Rick I knew and loved escaped long ago.  It just took a while for the earthly vessel to let go. Rest in peace my love.   Rhonda

I love my Dad and miss him dearly. I'm glad he is no longer in pain and resting  peacefully. My brother and I will be your legacy. Though you were not perfect, you loved hard and gave freely. I still hear your laughter and see you and mom dancing in the living room. Thank you for always being there for us and all the lessons you taught me. Love you always Dad!!! - Lauren, Royce, Sasha & Drake
