Amiee’ Boyd Obituary

Mrs. Amiee’ Danielle (Cummings) Boyd, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 18, 2019. She was 40. Amiee’ was born March 5, 1979 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Ward Eugene “Gene” Cummings and Anna Mae (Vernon) Pittman.

Amiee’ was a graduate of Northwest High School and was a devoted homemaker. She was a creative woman who loved writing poetry and painting in her free time. She enjoyed music, especially that of Motley Crue and Led Zeppelin as well as photography. She loved her family and the time they could be together. She also was particularly fond of her pet cat, Jynx. Amiee’ was a good mother and spent her life caring for her family.

Amiee’ is survived by her husband, Matt Boyd; her children, Hera Boyd and Sebastian Boyd; her mother, Anna Pittman; her father, Gene Cummings; her aunts, Sally Idol and Shirley Ramsey as well as her cousins, Joe Sircy, Shane Idol, Shawn Smith and Angie Fowler.

She was preceded in passing by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorial services for Amiee’ will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Lynhurst Family Mortuary.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
