Edward Lee Coleman

Mr. Edward Lee "Eddie" Coleman, of Indianapolis, passed away on the early afternoon of Sunday, June 2, 2019 at his residence. He was 54. He was born December 29, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky, a son of the late Elmer and Etta "Wynn" Coleman.

Eddie was a self employed carpet layer and handyman and had an inquisitive mind. He would take things apart and reassemble them to see how it worked. He was a collector and enjoyed fishing, grilling out and sitting on the back porch with family and friends. He dearly loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He was a very proud Grandpa.

Eddie is survived by his long-time companion, Phyllis Wilson; his son, Henry (Angela Savage) Coleman; stepchildren, Antoinette (Larry) Herring, David Wilson and Jeff (Rosie) Wilson; his brother, Kenny Coleman; his sister, Pam (Rick) Brown; an uncle, Nathan Wynn as well as many cousins and friends, He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his beloved granddaughter, Dahlila Wynn Coleman and his brothers, Brian Coleman and David Coleman.

A Celebration of Eddie's life will be announced by the family at a later date.
