Ronald Joseph Harris

Mr. Ronald Joseph Harris, Indianapolis, passed away on the early morning of Friday, November 15, 2019 at Life’s Journey of Avon. He was 88. Ron was born May 29, 1931 in Washington, Indiana, a son of the late Everett J. And Julia (Donaldson) Harris.

Ron was a graduate of Washington High School and was employed as a screw machine operator for Link-Belt Corporation for 30 years retiring in 1993. He had also been employed for several years with the Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Railroad before joining Link-Belt.

Ron enjoyed going fishing and was a member of the VFW Wayne Post #64.

He is survived by his children, Steven Harris, Susan (Ronald) Keen and Lynn (Kevin) Webber; nine grandchildren as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his siblings, Junior and Janet.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Lynhurst Family Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service at the Mortuary. Burial will follow to Fairfield Friends Cemetery in Camby, Indiana.
