Ruth Mary(Thoma)Maddux, 81 passed away on

April 16, 2019 at Greenfield Healthcare Center.

Ruth was born on August 2, 1937 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to

Stephen and Bertha(Deringer)Thoma who preceded her in death along with her husband Gilbert Maddux,

brothers:Lawrence, Clarence, and John Thoma and sister Lorraine Thoma.

Ruth was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Survivors: children:  Teresa Jensen, Joann Labella, Debbie Ratner, Barb(Robert) Brewer, Sue(John)Maitzen,

Sandy Creasey, Fredrick(Jennifer) Shinlever,Christopher(Audrey)Maddux, Carrie(Donovan) Maddux and Laurel (Craig Schell); 25 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters:  Gertrude Ratzer and Arlene,

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until service at 1:30 p.m. at Grinsteiner Funeral Home, with Chaplain Denise Woods officiating.  Burial will follow at Sutherland Park Cemetery. Indianapolis, Indiana.
