Obituary
Doris Fay Bartlett of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, November 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 84.
Doris was born on June 7, 1937 in Scottsville, Kentucky to the late Hobart and Merdell Wheat.
Doris was always a very active lady who loved line dancing with her daughter Angie. She loved cooking, and adored all different kinds of animals that she loved. Doris loved her family more than anything, and spending all of her time with them, especially her grandchildren. Doris was best friends with all of her children, and always enjoyed a good twist contest, and also loved roller skating at riverside with her husband.
Doris will be deeply missed by all of her family, friends, and everyone that has the pleasure of meeting her.
Survivors include her children, Robert Bartlett Jr., Pamela Sue Gonder, and Angela Bartlett (Mike Bright - Fiance); 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister Susan Fitt; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was proceded in death by her husband, Robert Bartlett Sr.; her parents, Hobart and Meredith; her step dad, Robert Kraatz; and brother, Ray Wheat; and her son in law Tim Gonder.
No services are planned at this time.
