Essie Mae Haley was the only child born to the late Cleve Guiton and Anna Nalls of Fayette, Alabama on July 17,1924. Essie fell asleep in death on April 20,2021. Essie lived a long satisfying life full of many, many chapters of love, fun, adventure.
Essie was fondly called "Muh" by her large family, neighbors, and her circle of friends. She will be remembered for her resilient spirit and wholesome wit.
Throughout her life Muh acted as a second mom to many.
She was most fond of being out with her family and friends knocking on doors as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, discussing the many blessings of serving her God Jehovah and her firm belief of God's promises of the resurrection.
Essie was proud of her spiritual heritage that she passed on to her 14 children.
She was an industrious woman raised in Alabama. She later moved her family to Michigan, where she did deep sea fishing in the Great Lakes. She also moved her family to Denver, Colorado. There they enjoyed the beautiful Colorado Mountains. Finally, she moved to Indiana with family, where she found herself attached to many more gracious people.
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grand mother, great-great grand mother, and dear friend Essie, is now left in Jehovah's memory, awaiting his call for her resurrection. Her hope and desire is to see her family and friends again in the new world as she starts a new chapter in her book of life.
