Kenneth "Ken" William Britt of Indianapolis, passed away at his residence on the early morning of August 10, 2021 at the age of 71.

Ken was born on April 14, 1950 in Smiths Grove, Kentucky to the late Howard, and Irene Britt.

Ken Married his sweetheart Geraldine on March 29, 1973.

He graduated Tech High School, and was a longtime CNC operator manufacturing sheet metal. He was an avid and faithful member of Charity Church on Tibbs.  Ken was a proud veteran  serving honorably in United States Navy.  He loved fishing, and camping, especially in Brown County, and adored going to the movies with his grandson. He also loved tinkering with his Ford truck, and piddling with his tools in the shed. Ken loved working in the yard, and listening to music. He was a comedian, and always cracking jokes and making people laugh. He made friends with just about everyone he came across, and never met a stranger. He adored being around babies and getting to hold and play with them brought him so much joy.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine Britt; son, Kenneth Brian (Amanda) Britt; daughter, Christy Jo (Stephen) Barton; sisters, Rita Pridemore, and Patricia (Jack) Barger Britt; and 3 grandchildren, Kenneth Brian Britt II, Ella Sophia, and Hannah Paige Barton.

He was proceded in passing by his parents, Howard and Irene Britt; brothers, Billy Britt, and Richard Lee Britt; and sister, Eva Pridemore.

Military Funeral Services for Ken will be held at Grinsteiner Funeral Home on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Calling from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor David Gibson officiating.

Additional calling will also be held at Grinsteiner Funeral Home on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..

Burial will Follow on Friday with Military Honors at Floral Park Cemetery.
