Marilyn Combs Obituary

Marilyn Sue (Gant) Combs, 74, passed peacefully away at her residence on February 5, 2023. Marilyn was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 17, 1948, to the late Charles W. Gant and Vonda (Mix) Gant. She was an active part of the Fishers East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved reading her Bible and participating in the public ministry. Marilyn had a personable nature and a kind and generous heart. This endeared people to her and provided great care and comfort to her as her health continued to fail. All of the love and kind sentiments poured out by everyone during this time is truly overwhelming and greatly appreciated. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and sister Joyce C. (Gant) King.

She is survived by her loving husband and caregiver Ed D. Combs; Son Travis (wife Jennifer) Combs of Indianapolis, IN. A memorial of her death will be held at 3:00 on Saturday, February 18th, 2023, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 12241 Lantern Rd., Fishers, IN 46038. Provisions for joining via Zoom will be provided to friends and family who are unable to attend.
