Mendy Sunshine (Graves) Church, 42 passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021  as the result of a tragic auto accident on I-69 north of Anderson, Indiana. She was born on January 9, 1979 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Paul Rich Graves and the late Rita Faye (Clark) Terrell. Mendy worked as a cashier for BP gas station.  She had a green-thumb growing a beautiful garden and had loads of plants of all varieties. She loved Betty Boop, Reba Mc Entire, Lionel Richie, especially songs "Does He Love You"  and  "Fancy", playing cards and dice.  In her free time she enjoy working with her husband Jacob on cars., also loved cleaning and cooking.

She is survived by her loving husband Jacob Lee Church, daughter Velvet N. Naum and son Vinson S. Naum; father Paul (Rachel) Graves; siblings Cheyenne M.(Kenneth) Moore, Jr. and  Chanele Graves; nephews: RJ and Hunter Moore; aunt Tammy Clark and Uncle Mark (Beck) Clark. Preceded in passing by her mother.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from  10:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m.  at  Southeastway Park,  Park #2, 5624 South Carroll Road. New Palestine, IN 46163. 

 Arrangements have been entrusted to Grinsteiner Funeral Home.
