Robert Gordon Uptegrove

Robert  “Bob” Gordon Uptegrove, 73 passed away on January 4, 2021

at Franciscan Health.   He was born on November 23, 1947 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Roy and Geraldine (White) Uptegrove.

Bob was a member of Thompson Road Baptist Church, where he was very giving and helpful to others, and was a fixer upper around the church.  He enjoyed tinkering in his garage.  He like cooking and making surprise dinners for his family.

Bob was Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Vincent Hospital  and was a veteran serving  his county in the United States Marines.

Survivors: Loving wife Catherine “Cathy” R. (Ray)Uptegrove, son Robert Thomas Uptegrove, two grandchildren,

Lauren and Eran Uptegrove, sisters:  Patty Gonzales, Mary Kaufman and Ethel McDaniel.

Bob was preceded in passing by his parents and brother Terry Uptegrove.

Due to the COVID-19 a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
