Timothy "Tim" Allen Gonder

Timothy "Tim"  Allen Gonder passed away unexpectedly at his home on the evening of Monday, May 24, 2021 at the age of 56.

Tim was born born in Indianapolis on October 16, 1964 to the late Shirley O., and Wanetta Lou (Simmons) Gonder.

Tim was happily married to Pamela Sue Gonder who he was united in marriage to on November 21, 1997.

He was employed by the City of Indianapolis as a heavy machinery technician mechanic, and worked on all of the cities emergency vehicles, and fire trucks.

Tim loved spending his free time fishing at the conservative club on Troy, as well as gardening any time he could.

He loved watching NASCAR, and the Brickyard, and really enjoyed racing remote control cars with his son.

He also loved spending time with his granddaughters, who he adored.

But the thing Tim loved doing most, and was the highlight of his life, was spending all the time he possibly could with his absolute best buddy, his son Brandon, who he was extremely proud of, and loved dearly with all of his heart.

Tim was a remarkable man with a heart of gold, that was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and will be deeply missed by many.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Sue Gonder; his son, Brandon Gonder; step daughter Jessica Smith; and his 3 granddaughters, Jesslynn, Addalynn, and Maddalynn; brother Joe Gonder; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and loving friends.

He was proceded in death by his parents, Shirley O., and Wanetta Lou Gonder.

Funeral Services for Tim will be held on Thursday May 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Grinsteiner Funeral Home.

Calling will be the same day from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Dennis Patton officiating.

Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis.
