Wanetta Lou (Simmons) Gonder

Wanetta Lou Gonder, 76 Indianapolis, Indiana

passed away at her residence on April 17, 2021.

She was born July 9, 1944 in Glenville, West Virginia to the late Clay and Eva (Bush) Simmons.

Wanetta retired in 2016 as a secretary for a Rug Cleaning Company. She loved to put out a garden every year,

She loved to try new receipes as she was an excellent cook and baker. Everyone love when she made their birthday cakes A "Banana Split Cake",

her meatloaf was delicous and her homemade bread was outstanding.   Wanetta loved to spend time with her grandchildren and family and in her spare time she enjoyed quilting.

Survivors her loving children Tim(Pam) Gonder, Joe Gonder, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, siblings Bud Simmons, Wilma Simmons, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.]

Wanetta was preceded in passing by her parents, husband Shirley O. Gonder  and sister Wanda Taylor.

Visitation will be held at Grinsteiner Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 4:00 p.m.  until service at 7:30 p.m. with Chaplain John Barts officiating.

Entombment will be held at Lincoln Memory Gardens on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.

Due COVID-19 mask are required and social distancing is recommended.
